2025 Freedom Fun Run 5K Event

Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, is yet again thrilled to host our annual Freedom Fun Run 5K for 2025! Set to kick off on Saturday, June 28th, join us in Parkersburg, WV, or participate virtually from anywhere! This annual race helps raise funds for Veterans, while acting as a great way to show appreciation for those who have served our country. We are anticipating a record number of participants this year and we invite you to join us! Register today and get involved!

Choose Your Race Location

In Jan Dils’ effort to support Veterans nationwide, we offer two ways to participate in this meaningful event:

Virtual 5K

• Dates: Saturday, June 21st, 12:01 a.m. to Friday, June 27th, 11:59 p.m.
• How: Complete the 5K on your own time during the week and share the results with us!

In-Person 5K

If you are in or near Parkersburg, WV, join us at the Jan Dils’ office on Market Street!

• When: June 28th, 2025, at 7 a.m. (in-person registration), 8 a.m. (race begins)
• Where: 963 Market St, Parkersburg, West Virginia

Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you choose to run or walk, regardless of pace. On race day, there will be plenty of refreshments, entertainment, and awards to celebrate our participants!

A Difference For Veterans

The Freedom Fun Run 5K is all about making a lasting impact on the lives of Veterans across the country. Each year, the Jan Dils community hosts this event to act as a major fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds go towards benefitting Veteran-related initiatives. Here are some local organizations that are directly benefitting from this year’s race:

• We Have Your Six: Provides support such as housing, clothing, food, and healthcare to Veterans.

• Operation Transportation: Partners with local transit authorities to provide free bus passes to Veterans in Parkersburg and Charleston, WV.

• Jan Dils Foundation Scholarship: Provides financial assistance to Veterans or their dependents for educational opportunities.

Your participation will help support these organizations’ efforts to the well-being of Veterans in our community and nationwide.
